Omodomo is a handmade product. Any small imperfections in the glass are part of the craftsmanship of the object.
In case of obvious defects we replace or refund
1) Faulty Items and Warranty
Omodomo articles are covered by an official manufacturer's warranty for 24 months after receipt of the goods. The warranty is applicable to a product that shows defects of conformity. Items where the problem is due to incorrect handling, poor maintenance, abuse or negligence, misuse, modification or unauthorised attempts to repair are not subject to warranty. The warranty is personal and therefore applies only to the original purchaser. Any item repaired or replaced under warranty will itself be covered by the warranty for a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original product. Any repair costs for items not covered by the warranty will be notified to the purchaser in advance.
Verticalmilano carries out checks on omodromo products before shipping. However, if you find a visible defect in the product within 10 days of receipt, please contact us to point out the problem and send us a photo of the defect found. If it is obviously necessary that a replacement or repair is required, we will send you a replacement item.
If it is necessary to replace the product, once written confirmation of acceptance of the return has been received, pack the faulty item appropriately and return it in such a way as to guarantee its integrity during transport.
Within 10 days of receiving the return, we will check and replace the item if the fault is recognised.
If the customer prefers the refund of the value of the returned goods (including shipping costs of the outward journey) this will be done using the same method of payment chosen at the time of purchase.
2) Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to and for the purposes of the Consumer Code, as amended by Legislative Decree no. 21/2014, the customer can exercise the right of withdrawal, without penalty and without specifying the reason, within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the goods purchased. In order to exercise this right, the customer must send an e-mail within the terms indicated to the address firstname.lastname@example.org or a registered letter with return receipt, in which the personal data are indicated, namely Name, Surname, Address, Order number, telephone number, description of the product(s), IBAN code, if any, and the holder of the current account to which the bank transfer must be made for the refund.
As soon as this communication has been sent, the CUSTOMER must forward, at his own expense and using a courier of his choice, the product he intends to return.
All risks relating to the transport of the returned product are borne by the customer.
The direct costs of returning the products are borne by the customer. The returned product must reach verticalmilano srl within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date on which the withdrawal was notified; the goods must be returned intact, in their original packaging, complete in all parts.
Until proof of receipt, shipment is under the complete responsibility of the customer; in the event of damage to the goods during transport, verticalmilano srl will inform the customer of the event (within 10 working days of receipt of the goods), to enable him to quickly file a complaint against the carrier of his choice and obtain a refund of the value of the goods (if insured); in this case, the product will be made available to the customer for return, at the same time cancelling the request for withdrawal; verticalmilano srl is not liable in any way for damage or theft/loss of goods returned by uninsured shipments; upon arrival, the product will be examined to assess any damage or tampering not resulting from transport. Once the returned product has been received, verticalmilano srl will refund the price paid for the product(s) for which the right of withdrawal has been exercised.
The goods must be returned to: VERTICALMILANO SRL - Magazzino Logistico GIDD - Via Pitagora, 17 – 20861 Brugherio – MB.
The customer will be held liable, and therefore not refundable, if the damage observed was caused by bad or incorrect handling of the article.
Any type of refund for payments made by credit card will in any case be made net of the bank commission charged to verticalmilano srl.
In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, verticalmilano srl will return the purchased goods to the sender, charging the shipping costs to the sender.
3) Complaints and Place of Jurisdiction
Any complaints must be addressed to verticalmilano srl by sending an e-mail to the address email@example.com. The sales contract between the customer and verticalmilano srl is concluded in Italy and is governed by Italian law. For the resolution of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this remote sales contract, the local jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of MILAN.
